2010 EASI Tackle Football League

 

EASI offers a fall tackle football league for children ages 7 through 12 (grades 2^nd through 7^th).  Registration begins July 28 and runs through August 11th.  Registration fees are $95 per player during regular registration.  There is a $15 late fee for registration after August 11th.  We will not accept any registration forms after August 11 until all kids have been placed on teams from regular registration, even if your child is on a team.  If you have not played a sport with us since 2002, please bring a copy of the birth certificate to registation. Fall league begins September 7th and runs through November 11th.  Games are played at Mitch Park on Covell between Kelly and Santa Fe on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights (rainout games are played on Wednesday nights).  A total of 10 games will be played during the fall league, plue every team qualifies to play in the post-season tournament, with the championship games for 4th - 6th grade being played at UCO.  There are no gate fees and player insurance is included.

 

Age Limits

• 2^nd Grade  - Going into 2^nd grade or 7 as of Jan 1, 2010
• ^3rd Grade  - Going into 3^rd grade or 8 as of Jan 1, 2010
• 4^th Grade  - Going into 4^th grade or 9 as of Jan 1, 2010
• 5^th Grade  - Going into 5^th grade or 10 as of Jan 1, 2010
• 6^th Grade - Going into 6^th grade or 11 as of Jan 1, 2010
• 7^th Grade - Going into 7^th grade or 12 as of Jan 1, 2010

If your child is in a grade level listed above, but is older than the age listed above as of January 1, 2010, please contact the office for further options.  Children may play up one grade/age level, once they are in the 2^nd grade or 7 as of January 1, 2010, but cannot play down.  We will also have a weight limit for each age group.  Please see the rules sections for the weight limits.  Players cannot play on two tackle teams within the EASI league, but can play on one tackle team and one flag team and/or baseball team within the EASI league.

 

Tackle Football Clinic

EASI will host a football clinic August 2nd - 4th.  The camp will be held at Edmond Santa Fe High School and the camp coordinator will be Bruce Gowen - Edmond Santa Fe Football Coach.  The camp is open to anyone entering kindergarten through 7^th grade.   The entry form can be found on our website under Camps on the lower right hand side.

Sports Park Rules

• No tobacco of any kind.
• No rollerblades, bikes, scooters, skateboards, or heelys.
• No pets.
• No outside food or drinks - water is okay.
• No climbing over fences or gates to enter park.
• No alcohol.
• No profanity.
• No soft toss into fences.
• Pre-game practice in warm up areas and outfields only.
• No one is allowed on the infields when they are not in use.
• Parents are required to supervise young child at all times.
• Each team is expected to clean the sideline area after each game.
