Softball

2010 EASI Spring ASA Softball League

EASI runs an ASA sanctioned softball league. Spring league begins March 22 through June 10. Games are played at Mitch Park on Covell between Kelly and Santa Fe on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights. (Rainout games are played on Wednesday nights.) A total of fourteen games are played during spring league and there are no gate fees.

T-ball age 4 through 6 (t-shirt provided)

Machine pitch ages 7 and 8

Kid pitch ages 9 through 16

Regular Registration: January 27 through February 10
$75 per player 
Ages 6 and under - $50

Age cut-off for fall softball is your child's age before January 1, 2010. There are no exceptions to the age cut-off date. Children may play up two years, but no one will be allowed to play down in age. Please bring a birth certificate when registering if your child did not play a sport with EASI since 2002.

2010 Spring Softball Tournaments

 
  • Mar 12-14 - Spring Warm-up - 3 game guarantee plus receive a coupon for 1/2 off another EASI regular softball tournament.
  • Mar 26-28 - Spring Kick-off - 4 game guarantee - Great trophies plus 1st and 2nd place teams receive a free dozen softballs.
  • April 9-11 - EASI Spring Shoot-out - 4 game guarantee

    • April 30-May 2 - EASI B and C Tournament (No A teams allowed) 4 game guarantee
    • May 21-23 - EASI Open Tournament - 4 game guarantee

    Sports Park Rules:
    No tobacco of any kind.
    No rollerblade, bikes, scooters, skateboards, or Heelys.
    No pets.
    No outside food or drink-water is okay.
    No climbing over fences or gate to enter park.
    No alcohol.
    No profanity.
    No soft toss into fences.
    Pregame practice in warm up area and outfields only.
    No one is allowed on the infields when they are not in use.
    Parents are required to supervise young children at all times.
    Each team is expected to clean the dugout area after each game.
